Interview with Jakob Strømann-Andersen

We visited our good friend Jakob all the way to Denmark. Jakob is a Director of Innovation and Sustainability and partner at Henning Larsen, where he is responsible for developing innovative visions and solutions within the field of sustainable design.

Jakob tells us about the importance of sound in architecture and how he and the team at Henning Larsen utilizes Treble’s technology to enable a better informed and more sustainable building design process.

Warner Theatre Rehearsal Hall - Acentech Case Study

This study helped to refine Acentech's understanding of the performance of the ceiling system, which absorbs sound quite effectively at most frequencies, and contributes valuable reflections for ensemble intelligibility. Treble helped Acentech to translate between measurements of room decay times and up-close mockup measurements to create a coherent analysis and understanding.
